- Acquisition of Ipsen’s family healthcare business.
- The MAYOLY portfolio includes the brands Smecta, Fortrans, Eziclen, Forlax, Tanakan, and Paxeladin.
2018
- Sailing with a Crohn: end of the adventure of Pierre Louis Atwell, a young skipper suffering from Crohn’s disease who dreamed of great adventures on the high seas. Our laboratories supported Pierre Louis in achieving this sporting feat.
- Pink October 2018: Topicrem is committed to the association Vivre Comme Avant.

- Establishment of a new subsidiary in Ukraine.
- Launch of Probiolog Fibre.
2008
- Jean Nicolas Vernin succeeded his father Jean-Gilles Vernin.
- More than a million packs of Meteospasmil sold in one month!
- MAYOLY is still an independent family-run French pharmaceutical company.

- Launch of Probiolog®.

- Launch of MeteoSpasmyl® in Mexico.
- Topicrem celebrates its 10th anniversary.
- Launches Topicrem 1 litre bottle.

- Launching of Pepsane®.

- Creation of a new production unit dedicated to the development and production of soft capsules.
- LGV Capsules joins the small circle of manufacturers in this important industry.
1994
- Launch of the Topicrem brand.
- First move into dermocosmetics.
1993
- Mayoly Spindler acquired Laboratoires Rosa Phytopharma, the manufacturer of the Chophytol®.
- The birth of the Topicrem moisturising emulsion under the Charlieu brand and the development of the Topicrem moisturising range.
1992
- Mayoly Spindler acquired Laboratoires Galéniques Vernin, founded in 1909 by the great-grandfather of Jean-Gilles Vernin. The laboratories joined Mayoly Spindler as a division specialising in pharmaceutical production.
1989
- Mayoly Spindler moved to Chatou after building the new headquarters and the adjoining factory.
- Construction of a production site in Dammarie-les-Lys near Paris dedicated to pharmaceutical manufacturing of tablets, coated tablets, packets and suppositories.
- Launch of the cream Topic 10: first launch of a moisturizing product.
1982
- Jean-Gilles Vernin succeeded his father as director and Head Pharmacist of Laboratoires Mayoly Spindler. A pharmacist by training, he had been working with his father since 1977 on marketing the Charlieu brand hair products.
- Development of the Charlieu hair care line with Charlieu Ultra Gentle and Gelictar shampoos.
1980
- Mayoly Spindler acquired the Charlieu brand products.
- PH5 cream, Pharma-Derme soap and shaving cream joined the Laboratoire Nigy product portfolio, creating the Nigy-Charlieu brand.
- Decision to develop a dermatological product line of hair and body care was made.
1975
- Mayoly Spindler was bought out by Dr Jean-Marie Vernin, Pharmacist.
- Steps taken to improve productivity and investments made in modern and efficient manufacturing equipment.
1964
- Launch of Methiospasmyl®.
- Renamed Meteospasmyl® in 1980.
1947
- Creation of Laboratoires Nigy.
1929
- Founding of the Laboratoires Pharmaceutiques Mayoly Spindler.
- Gaston Mayoly (born in 1891), a pharmacist in Paris, married a pharmacist, Ms. Spindler, and created Laboratoires Mayoly Spindler.
1909
- Founding of Laboratoires Galéniques Vernin by Louis-Charles Vernin. Laboratoires Galéniques Vernin (LGV) has many years of experience in the healthcare and cosmetics industries.
- The laboratory produces and sells plant extracts for the production of medicines, as well as the famous Sucrettes® saccharin tablets used as a sugar substitute.
- Development and production of soft capsules for pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals, production of various pharmaceutical forms: suppositories, tablets, coated tablets, sachets, as well as development and production of cosmetic products – body lotions, creams, shampoos, tonics.
